Ingredients
1 lb. Ground beef
1 Medium onion
6 Strips of bacon
1 8 oz. Container of sour cream
1 Packet of onion soup mix
Egg noodles
Equipment
Large skillet w/lid
Sharp knife
Instructions
- Chop the onion and bacon
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and bacon
- Drain the excess liquid from the skillet
- Stir in the contents of the packet of onion soup mix
- Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions
- Just before serving, stir in the sour cream into the beef mixture
- Heat through, but do not allow to boil
- Serve over egg noodles
