Protein Powered Oatmeal with Apple and Almonds

A very satisfying and nutritious way to start your day loaded with protein, healthy fats and fiber.

1/2 to 2/3 cup Rolled oats (quaker instant)
1 scoop Whey protien powder, chocolate or vanilla
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
9 Almonds
1 Medium size apple, any variety

Microwave safe container to boil water
Sharp knife
Chop Wizard or similar device (optional)
Apple corer (optional)

Put rolled oats in a bowl
Add one scoop of protien powder
Add cinnamon
Mix dry ingredients
Heat about a cup of water in the microwave on high for two minutes
Core and chop the apple
Chop the almonds
When the water is ready, pour slowly into oatmeal, mixing as you go until it reaches your desired consistency.
Top with chopped apple and almonds
